The desired candidate must have a mimimum of 3 years experience in the following:

• Work Planning: Works to Safety Rules and regulations, instrumentation maintenance work inspection reports & work orders
• Analysis and Reporting: Analysis of previous day & shift activities with Supervisor
• Team supervision: Guide, monitor and assists train new team members
• Problem Solving: Personally provide technical input to the resolution of major maintenance problems
• Spare parts management: Assist Supervisor in ensuring proper spare parts management
• Conversant with HYL Direct Reduction process
• Fair knowledge of instrumentation systems related to DRP process
• Experience with repairs, maintenance and calibration of processing equipment and instruments
• Familiar with basic office computer software

Also, Diploma / Trade Certificate (ITI) in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering is a must.

The deployment schedule of this position is May/June 2010 and will be based in Sohar, Oman.
