The desired candidate must have a minimum of 4 years working experience in a related field, and must have knowledge in the following:

• Review daily Instrumentation Maintenance work orders and classify them into corrective or preventive maintenance categories
• Study all Instrumentation Maintenance requests and prioritizes them in order of importance
• Supervise and execute the maintenance programs as per planning schedule for both preventive and corrective activities
• Personally provide technical input and hands-on skills to the resolution of major maintenance problems
• Prepare daily management reports based upon analysis of previous day’s activities
• Fully conversant with HYL Direct Reduction process
• In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems related to DRP process
• Experience with repairs, maintenance and calibration of processing equipment and instruments
• Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software

Also, Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering is a must.

The deployment schedule of this position is May/June 2010 and will be based in Sohar, Oman.
