Annual Salary Review

The Company reviews its pay package on an annual basis. This exercise determines whether Emirates Steel Industries salaries and benefits are aligned with the market and its industry sector.

Housing

The Company have two (2) options, although we work on the basis of ‘clean’ cash packages with all of our staff we are also providing accommodation. Option No. 1: Should you opt to live out of the company accommodation your General Allowance will be intact. Option No. 2: Should you opt to live in the company accommodation there will be a subsequent monthly deduction from the General Allowance.

On arrival with Emirates Steel Industries we will provide you with one month suitable accommodation, free of charge and our team will provide you with guidance and assistance in finding a suitable apartment / villa.

For option No. 1, the Company will make an annual housing advance to you on an interest free basis to assist you with your rental payments – such advances being deducted on a twelve months basis from your monthly salary.

Transportation

Transportation allowance is paid in the general allowances monthly. Although a bus service is provided on company cost to ferry workers to and from the plant through major Abu Dhabi roads.

Annual bonus

Annual bonuses are paid to our staff at the discretion of the Board of Directors – the amount being determined on the basis of the performance of the Company as a whole and on the basis of your personal performance and contribution.

Bonuses are granted up to a maximum of 3 months basic salary for exceptional performance.

Education Allowance

You will be entitled to education assistance of up to AED 12,000 per year per child for a maximum of two (2) children below 18 years of age.

End of service payment

On leaving the Company you will be entitled to receive one (1) month basic salary for every year of service rendered from 1 – 5 years; one & half months (1.5) basic salary for every year of service rendered from 5 – 10 years; and two (2) months basic salary for every year of service rendered over ten years; - this payment is made on the basis of your final salary and not on the basis of an average over your period of employment.

Annual holiday tickets

Annual holiday tickets are paid in the general allowances monthly.

Vacation

You will be entitled to [X number of] working days vacation per annum depending on your grade.

Others

You will be entitled to receive life assurance and medical health insurance in line with the Company’s normal arrangements.
